Annual Fund Raising for Brody’s Foundation: Triple Bypass

Jeff is once again riding the Triple Bypass .

July 12th • 118 Miles • 10,800’ Vertical • 3 Mountain Passes to raise funds for our son's foundation.

Each year, our team raised over $10,000. Thanks to so many generous donors, Brody's Foundation sent $50,000 to Dr. Nicholas Vitanza and his team at Seattle Children’s. They had harvested T-cells from Brody with hopes of him joining their CAR-T trial. Tragically, Brody's life ended 8 days prior to his scheduled start date.

The goal of Dr. Vitanza's lab is to find new treatments that are both safe and curative for high-grade, aggressive pediatric brain and spinal cord tumors, such as Brody’s diffuse midline glioma H3 K27M (DMG). The Vitanza team continues to make strides with their research. Tumors are being reduced, and children are living longer while undergoing these treatments.
